We bought this for our car for traveling since we have a food allergy and cannot eat out. It helps to freeze some meals so that we are able to microwave in hotels until we get to our destination. So far everything works. Only thing we wish it had was a hanging bag that attaches or can be detached for holding cords and booklet that came with unit.
Good for the price. Does the job as the other, more expensive brands. Fits in the passenger seat of my 2005 W900L just fine. I did have to remove the telescoping handle and wheels to make it fit. Top doors are removable and can be switched to open in either direction. Keeps frozen items frozen just fine. Temperature is easy to adjust for either compartment. U can have fridge/fridge, fridge/freezer or freezer/freezer, combos, or leave one compartment off and just use one. Has an app that's a bit quirky, but it does work once you spend some time with it. I had it on ECO mode for 3 days with my truck off and it never got close to draining my batteries of my truck. It does have an optional removable battery, not included, however.
Other than that it's been pretty reliable so far.
I bought this for getting groceries, I used it one time. I unplugged it because I wasn’t going to use it again for a while and when I plugged it in to get cool it didn’t start I had no power to it al all. I called customer service and after a couple back and forth they told me the problem was a module and they didn’t have one in stock they had to get it from China and it would be approximately 30 would I wait and would I install the module. I told them yes I need the cooler. They then wrote back and said they are out of stock in their warehouse and it would be another 15 days for a total of a 1 1/2 months. I’ve been with out a working cooler since December because that’s when I went to use it again. Anyway I told them I spent good money on this and I wanted a working cooler. I don’t think I should have to wait a 1 1/2 to have a working cooler I think they shout replaced it. It’s very frustrating to say the least. I will update has soon has this mess is straightened out. Update customer service has taken care of the problem by shipping a new cooler. I am very happy with the outcome and highly recommend based on the customer service experience.
