BODEGAcooler 48/58/68/78Qt Single Zone Portable Freezer

I had been on the fence about getting a portable fridge/freezer for road trips, camping, and so forth. When this one popped up, I was VERY excited to give it a try.

First off, the packaging was great. The cooler came well protected for transit with the cords stored in the large compartment along with the manual. Once I opened it, I read the manual then jumped on the app store to get the Bodega Cooler app.

Couple observations:
-The cooler is "good" size, but the right compartment is pretty tiny in itself. The left side is where most of your food/drink would reside. I guess the right side is more of the "fridge" portion versus the left being the "freezer" portion. The right side runs off the excess cooling from the left compartment; for instance I had some frozen food on the left, and had it set to 25 degrees. When I reviewed the app to see the temps, the right compartment was still running around 50+ degrees after an hour of cooling it down. All I could really fit on the right side was a few cans of "soda" - which stayed relatively cool. I wish I could control more accurately the temp on the right, and had a little more space, but I am sure the cooler would get substantially bigger. I can only assume the power supply and compressor are located underneath that right compartment, so that's why there are space constraints.

It is relatively heavy as well, but it does come with a nice handle and some heavy duty rollers. It rolls pretty nice, and the handle is the right length. It secures into the body of the cooler when not in use. So that is nice.

It comes with a 12V cigarette charger cable, as well as a cord for 110VAC. I had it plugged in in our vehicle on our way to an outing, and when I got there, plugged it into a wall outlet to keep things at temperature. It worked quite well with the various cords. I wish it would have had a built in battery so you could use it without any cords, but I suspect that would add a lot of additional weight to an already hefty cooler.

The display is easy to read and can be adjusted from the app or directly on the unit itself. It connects easy using Bluetooth, and allows you to monitor the temp as you go about your day. There are various modes to choose from. Such as ECO to conserve power, as well as a quick cool - so you can jump start the cooling process. I used both, but ended up staying on standard cooling mode because it was very hot outside, and it was sitting in the sun. So it needed to keep up. But I could see using ECO in vehicles during transport if you wanted too. (or if you want to conserve your battery at a campsite, etc.)

All that being said, I find the product pretty easy to setup and use. It does cool down relatively fast.
It does not have as much space in the small compartment, but the freezer portion is adequate for what I need. Bodega makes very nice products, and I am very pleased with this find. Minus a few minor complaints, I am completely happy with this product. I would give it 5 stars and recommend it to anyone on the go, campers, or for family road trips. It does the trick! They say FedEx lost my package. I have reached out a total of 5-7 times. I've heard back twice and all they say is, "let us know if you'd like us to replace it." Of course I want it replaced. When I reply, "yes, please send it." I'm ghosted. This is getting ridiculous.

I am a long distance truck driver. It's gotten so expensive eating on the road.this cooler is a outstanding product for me.i know leave home with good food.i keep it at 29 degrees .had to take out the passenger seat to fit.but that's ok.. it was a great buy

I have 2 fridges from other companies this one is quieter thank the other two takes less power than the other two works perfectly for camping trips fit all the food and drinks for a 3 night trip for 5 people. Highly recommend it looking at getting a smaller one for permanent install in trunk
